Welcome to Sugarsnap’s Blog.

I am the owner and founder of Sugarsnap.  I’ll be posting the most frequently, but you will see posts from many of our team members… from cooks to farmers!

Sugarsnap has been in business for almost 10 years. We started as a small prepared foods business on Riverside Avenue in Burlington.  We offered fresh, wholesome take out meals made from local ingredients. From the beginning, we had our own farm in the Intervale, where we grow culinary herbs and vegetables.

Three years ago, we put in a big production kitchen in South Burlington. Since then, our catering operation has grown tremendously. We cater a wide variety of events… from business lunches to weddings. And we have a bar service.  We are now the exclusive caterer at ECHO.  Plus we have cafes in Technology Park in So. Burlington and at ECHO on the waterfront.  We recently closed our original location on Riverside Avenue so that we could focus more on the rest of the business.

I am looking forward to sharing all things Sugarsnap on this blog… and hearing from readers and customers too!
