What is the difference between Delivery and Event Catering?
With our Delivery Catering service, we prepare the food and deliver it. You take care of serving the food and cleaning up. This is a great option for casual parties and business lunches. For Event Catering, we set up, serve and clean up the event.
Do you deliver?
Yes! We charge 25 dollars for delivery anywhere within seven miles of our South Burlington location. If you are further than that, we add two dollars for each additional mile. Our standard delivery hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., seven days a week. For deliveries outside of that time frame, we charge an additional $25.
Can I pick up my catering order?
Sure! You can pick up your order seven days a week between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. at our Technology Park location in South Burlington.
Can I change my order once it is placed?
We consider all orders final three business days before the scheduled event date. We will do our best to accommodate changes with less notice, but we can’t guarantee that we’ll be able to.
Can you provide me with a written quote or a bill in advance?
Sure, we’re happy to email you a quote or bill.
Does Sugarsnap offer custom menus?
Yes. For custom menus, we typically require at least two weeks’ advance notice. Please contact us as soon as possible if you have custom catering needs.
How can you help with food allergies/dietary restrictions?
We are happy to work with food allergies and dietary restrictions. Please be as specific as you can regarding your needs so that we can address them safely and properly.
How do I know how much to order?
The packages offered on the drop-off catering menu are a great place to start. Our regular customers find that these are pleasing and plentiful for their groups. You can always contact us for suggestions. We can guide you with information we have gained from experience. How early do I need to place my order?
We ask for at least three business days’ notice. If you have less time than that, call us at (802) 861-2951. We can often still accommodate your order; however, our menu availability may be limited.
I want to order a lunch package for my group; will proceeds from the cookies go to COTS?
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept credit cards (VISA, MC, AMEX and Discover), checks, and cash. Payment is due before the event or at the time of delivery. Business clients can set up an account in order to be invoiced if they prefer. Payment is due within 14 days. We require a credit card to guarantee all orders without an account. We will charge your credit card one business day before the order and email you the receipt.
What is the cancellation policy?
Drop-off catering orders that are canceled less than 24 hours before the event may be charged up to 100 percent of the total invoice. These charges are to cover foods that cannot be used, labor, rental goods, and jobs we may have declined in order to accommodate your event. The determination of which level of charges will be at the discretion of Sugarsnap Catering.
Why do you require three business days’ notice?
Sugarsnap’s commitment to customer service is our motivation. Making fresh, healthy and delicious food requires planning to ensure we have the quality and quantity of ingredients, as well as kitchen and delivery staff.
